Londoner Tom Lown is a quiet and unassuming type, who expresses himself through his immaculately performed drumming and percussion. His varied rhythm styles have provided the ideal backdrop to The Society's songs.
His numerous credits have included pop, funk, and Latin music combos. It was while Mr Lown was a percussionist in a retro funk band, that bassist Tom Hanna met him, discovering that they gelled as if they'd been playing with each other for years.
The bassist's recommendation was enough to secure Mr Lown's seat on The Society's drum stool, a decision that completed the jigsaw of the band's sound, to the satisfaction of all concerned.
