Joe at the Dew Drop Inn

Son of Surrey Rock 'n' Roll guitarist Bill Palmer, Joe's musical talents remained dormant for years until, rejecting the recorder for the guitar, he took to drinking vast quantities of whisky so that he could sing as deeply as his then heavy-metal idols.

His first (punk) band 'The Slaves of Ellis', was thankfully short-lived. By the time The Society began, Joe's prolific writing was incorporating everything from Rock, to Pop, to Folk, and his song words became a cipher for his social concerns.

Joe's calm and ironic character conceals an amusing and educated young man, who has enjoyed living across the globe. In his free time, he takes pleasure in history, literature, and a life without luxury.
