Nasa plans to create sustainable exploration of the moon within 9 years as part of project Artemis. Once established a stated aim is to ‘┬átest new tools, instruments and equipment that could be used on Mars, including human habitats, life support systems, and technologies’.

SpaceX are already developing technology for the journey including their Starship project. Building on a series of successes that shocked the world.

Before we know it the technology to take us further than we ever imagined will be available. So what next?

What happens after the excitement of the first steps into unknown worlds? Well that’s where it gets REALLY interesting.

Society is based on one thing, food. And while the heroic pathfinders might be able to live off dehydrated pouches, a planet of hundreds of thousands of inhabitants cannot. Once those boots do touch the ground sustainable food growth will be THE key to pushing humanity out into the universe.

I’m SB, I’m an architype for people all over the planet working towards this end. My research will make up the majority of this site following from my journey into the very basic principles of life through to the harvesting of the first crop on a none earth entity. Carl Sagan once said “We are a way for the cosmos to know itself”. I aim to make the introduction as easy as possible. All the best and enjoy the site, SB.
